A 1970's edition of the seminal Children's TV show "The Magic Roundabout" written and voiced by the unique Eric Thompson. Why this isn't repeated or released on DVD is beyond me. Classic stuff!!!
An excellent example of kitchen sink drama from the second year of "Coronation Street". Ena and Elsie have a face off over a poison pen letter. Absolute classic stuff.
From December 2005 the ITV News Channel finally breathes its last. Quite why anybody would want to watch this I don't know. Just fed up with it littering up my hard drive.
Some very rare footage of 1930's television broadcast by Goebbles to the television parlours of Berlin. Just imagime if the opposing team had won World War 2. This is your Saturday night TV folks.
Opening titles of what may be the most derided soap ever made. Set on board a ferry sailing between Fleixstowe, Gothenburg and Amsterdam the show paved the way for "Brookside" and other such dramas with its unique use of OB video cameras and editing (which was done on board the ship). Pity poor Kate O'Mara though. That's her, sunbathing topless, in the gloom and grey of the North Sea!
The Ghost scene from a silent 1913 version of Shakespeare's "Hamlet". The music may somewhat ruin the ghostly effect and this may be best viewed with the volume down.
The cliff hanger from episode 1 of "Attack of the Cybermen" from 1985. Just love this because of Nicola Bryant's scream. Possibly means I'm a sadist. Hmmm.
