My wife catching a pike 41" 25 pound pike. The owner uses a cradle so less harm will come to the fish. All fish caught are release. It is the law in the Northwest Territories that all hooks must be barbless.
Dad and myself went fishing on the Coosa River the 2nd day of February. We found a school of threadfin shad, we fished this school for over 3 hours. We caught several spotted bass between 2 and 4 pounds.
A great day spent on the river with my Dad we caught 10 spotted bass 8 of them were over 2 pounds with biggest was 4 pounds. We also caught 26 bream I caught most of them on my 3 wtg Sage flyrod what fun.
My dad turn 84 in July. I have been trying to get him to go fishing with me at Hearne Lake in the Northwest Territories for the last 2 years. This year he was able to go. He caught a 39" pike and several nice grayling and whitefish and lake trout. He walk almost a mile up the Beaulieu River shore to catch his grayling.
