I wrote the script originally for a group of girls to direct, but I ended up directing the thing myself.

Ipoh is the capital city of the Malaysian state, Perak, where my Grandmother resides. We visit that place annually during Chinese New Year, it's usually a fun time of family reunions. This video was shot during January 2006, and it gives you an idea how my relatives spend their times during Chinese New Year. Yeah.

The Old Jazz Band, composed of six veteran musicians (whose age average above 75), performs at the Peace Hotel in Shanghai. This is the first piece they performed when I was there (on the 14th of January, 2007).
Mom and little sister visit me for the very first time in Perth, September 2004. Dad was there too. Just a video of the random places we went in the few days they were there, from their arrival to their departure.
Shot on the 6th of May. This video, unlike most of my others, isn't heavily edited. And also, there's only diegetic sound. So you have a more realistic idea what Shibuya looks like. But the food at the shabu-shabu. Yummy.

Shot on February 2005, just before I flew back to Perth. Just random shots of 1-Utama, my favourite shopping place in Malaysia. Oh, and it ended with me having dinner with my family in at the awesome Woh Fung restaurant near my house.
