The best bit is towards the end. Done on 19 May, 2007. The following day or so a helicopter reported a sudden eruption and lava spilled over the top of one of Puu O'o vents, don't know if it was this one. Then the day after a 4.7 and a 4.1 earthquake rocked this area. Had I known about these events we would not have approached the pond vent.
