Charles Bukowski (1920 - 1994) was an influential Los Angeles poet and novelist. Bukowski's writing was heavily influenced by the geography and atmosphere of his home city of Los Angeles. This is a short film directed by and starring Joel Vetsch, with actual narration from Bukowski himself reading his poem 'Something For The Touts, The Nuns, The Grocery Clerks, And You . . .'
A thoughtful look at a long-time palm tree frond weaver named Moku. He has been weaving fronds for 10 years, and it is quite fascinating to watch him form various animals, headbands, and roses in a matter of moments from a regular palm tree frond. Watch him create in this picturesque setting by the sea in Lahaina.

The Miles City music scene has taken off, with some fantastic area musicians taking an active role in the performances each Friday night either in the Park or in the bookstore, both located on Main Street.
The performances are free and the musicians are exceptional.
