Yes, Shirley is what she is - a rare talent. It would take a looooong while till someone else like her walks the earth (if ever). I am lucky I had the chance to know the dame albeit a bit too late. Had I lived in her era I would have been one of her NUMBER ONE fans. Oh yes, none of us would say he's Shirley's number two admirer. She is what she is - a special creation indeed!

just watched the performance again and it still made me cry ,the lady crying in the shot, well that was pure emotion, as the emotion and love in the crowd was unbelievable. A truly fantastic night which I was so lucky to have been there at the roundhouse. I hope the bbc release a dvd as I keep having to watch it on you tube!!!Shirley is a ledgend and she is ours Love you dsb!!! xxx

Big difference between the two songs - I much prefer the new material - the 2nd song is too showbiz for me. Her new album is the biggest surprise EVER - a fantastic piece of work. Love the guitar solo in Girl from Tiger Bay, brilliant moment on the CD. If she retires now, she goes on an absolute peak. No matter what your taste in music is - buy the new CD

We have all tried to persuade the BBC but they will not release the DVD perhaps they are scared it would be a best seller get onto them we all have across the world maybe the more that do the more chance we have of getting the DVD od Shirley at her supreme best
