And you honestly can't justify being wrong with the fact that you're human. Especially when you came into this in an attempt to correct someone else. Get your facts straight before trying to disprove someone. Having a good knowledge is pretty useless if you can't get it right...

@Lintflas Mercedes did not invent the airbag. GM did and installed it in their Cadillac and Oldsmobile cars in the late 1960s and 1970s. The problem was that these airbag systems were unreliable and often failed to work. GM pulled this feature off their cars in the early 1970s. Mercedes made the airbag work reliably. Mercedes is definitely the firm with the most contributions to safety. I know people will say Volvo is second, but that's due more to hype and marketing although Volvo's are safe.

@gunny556fly Hate to tell you this, but the Model T Ford did not start production until 1908. The Model A Ford was the first to be sold under the Ford name-plate in 1903 and the first vehicle to be made by Henry Ford was the Quadricycle which he finished in 1896. The electric Porsche you mentioned is Lohner-Porsche, Porsche was merely a co-creator. The first car to wear the Porsche badge though was the 64 which was built in 1939. First production Porsche-badged car was the 356 in 1948.
